Staff Selection Commission (SSC) will conduct an open competitive examination for recruitment to the post of Scientific Assistant in India Meteorological Department (IMD), Group ‘B’ Non-Gazetted, Non-Ministerial post, in the Level 6 of the Pay Matrix Candidates who wants to apply can check eligibility criteria mentioned below.
Eligibility Criteria & Qualification details:
Name of the Posts: Scientific Assistant.
Total Number of vacancy: About 990 Posts.
Salry details: 28,500/- to 93,400/- per month
Age Limit: 21 years to 35 years
Relaxation 5 years for SC/ST & 3 years for OBC as per Govt Rules.
Educational Qualification:
i) Bachelor’s Degree in Science (with Physics as one of the subject)/Computer Science/Information Technology/Computer Applications.
OR
i) Diploma in Electronics and Telecommunication Engineering from a recognized Institution/University or equivalent.
Selection Process:
Candidates will be selected through Online Examination only.
i) Part-1 Examintion (100 Marks) objective.
ii) Part-2 Examination (100 Marks) objective.
How to Apply:
Candidates can apply online only from 30th September 2022 to 18 October 2022 and no other mode of application will be accepted. Eligible applicants are required to apply online through the website www.ssc.nic.in No other means/mode of application will be accepted.
