Staff Selection Comission (SSC) has released a notification inviting online applications from eligible and interested Male & Female Indian citizens for the various posts of Group B & Group C. The recruitment will be conducted to fill a total 7,500 vacancies in the setting up of the Staff Selection Comission, Ministry of Home Affairs, Government of India. Name of the posts: Various Posts under Group B & Group C.
Job Location: All India.
Exam Centre: Agartala, Tripura.
Total Number of vacancy: 7,500 Posts
✅Educational Qualification:
i) Bachelor's Degree/Graduation or equivalent qualification from a recognized Board or Institute.
Educational Qualification for a particular category of posts is mentioned in the official Notification against each category of the posts.
Age Limit:
Minimum 18 years & Maximum 32 years.
The Date of Birth as recorded in the Matriculation/ Secondary Examination Certificate or an equivalent certificate only will be accepted.
Relaxation in upper Age-limit admissible to eligible categories of applicants is as given below:
Age relaxation 5 years is applicable to SC/St & 3 Years for OBC Candidates.
Salary details:
- 21,500/- to 56,400/- per month (Group C)
- 34,500/- to 81,500/- per month (Group B)
▶️Mode of Selection:
Candidates will be selected through the following Stages:
i) Computer Based Examination ( Tier-I & Tier-II).
iii) Document Verification.
iii) Medical Examination.

General & OBC Candidates: 100/-
SC/ST/PWBD & Ex-Servicemen: No Fee

Applications are required to be submitted in online mode only at the official website www.ssc.nic.in on or before 3rd May 2023. Before applying for the post, the candidates must ensure that they possess the Essential Qualifications including Experience wherever it is prescribed as Essential Qualification and also meet the age-limit as on the crucial date mentioned in the Notification.

Candidates will have to submit copies of various documents like:
i. Aadhaar Card
ii. Voter ID Card.
iii. Passport size photo.
iv. Matriculation/Secondary Certificate for age proof.
v. Educational Qualification Certificate (12th Pass).
vi. Caste Certificate (SC/ST/OBC).
viii. Ex-serviceman required Discharge Certificate.

Note: Candidates are advised in their own interest to submit online applications much before the closing date and not to wait till the last date to avoid the possibility of disconnection/ inability or failure to login to the SSC website on account of heavy load on the website during the closing days.
