Applications are invited from interested and eligible candidates for the various post of Assistant Legal Aid Defence Counsel, Office Assistant, Clerk, Data Entry Operator and Office Peon. Candidates can submit Application along with the relevant documents to the office of the Dsitrict Legal Service Authority.

1. Chief Legal Aid Defense Counsel
No. of post: 01 (One)
Required Minimum Qualification:
(i) Practice in Criminal Law for at least 10 years.
(ii) Must have handled at least 30 criminal trials in Sessions Courts.
Honorarium: Rs.80,000/- per month.
2. Deputy Chief Legal Aid Defense Counsel
No. of posts: 02 (Two)
Required Minimum Qualification:
(i) Practice in Criminal law for at least 7 years.
(ii) Must have handled at least 20 criminal trials in Sessions Courts.
Honorarium: Rs.60,000/- per month.
3. Assistant Legal Aid Defense Counsel
No. of posts: 02 (Three)
Qualification: Practice in Criminal law for 3 years.
Honorarium: Rs.35,000/- per month.
4. Office Assistants/Clerks
No. of posts: 02 (Two)
Qualification: Graduation having knowledge in computer and skills to feed data.
Honorarium: Rs.15,000/- per month.
5. Receptionist - cum – Data Entry Operator
No. of post: 01 (One)
Qualification: Graduation with excellent verbal and written communication skills and knowledge in computer.
Honorarium: Rs.15,000/- per month.
6. Office Peon
No. of post: 01 (One)
Qualification: Class – VIII pass.
Honorarium: Rs.10,000/- per month.
How to Apply: The duly filed up application form along with self-attested copies of required documents may be submitted to the Office of the District Legal Services Authority, or if the candidate so desires, he or she may send the same in a duly filled up envelope via speed post in the above-mentioned address to the office of the District Legal Authority. The last date of submission of the form is on 19.05.2023 latest by 5.30 pm.
